However, in these schools, the NOUVELLE is strongly committed to the adoption of the same provisions and many schools have voluntarily chosen the conditions. In any case, all teachers transferred from a community school to an academy will have legally protected their STPCD conditions. Schools are legal entities and it is not possible to change schools. A worker may change schools only if the new employer chooses and complies with the conditions laid down by the new employer. If teachers change within the teaching profession, they are not entitled to maintain their salary rights – the salary can only correspond to the current salary scale. As NEU has negotiated with NITC colleagues, no teacher should be tasked with working more than 32.4 hours in a single week until individual time budgets are available. For exceptional or additional work, a teacher can benefit from an individual allowance or bonus, but this is entirely left to the school principal and there is no automatic right. These two non-recoverable elements of salary – individual allowances and bonuses – amounted on average to about 8% – 10% of a teacher`s gross salary. Below is a list of current individual employment contract templates for all school employees who are not members of a union or whose work is not covered by a collective agreement. As with schools in the independent sector, sixth-grade colleges are not legally required to employ teachers under the stpcd and de Burgundy Book terms and conditions of sale, although some do. All casual workers (such as school drivers and hostel workers) who are employed by a board of directors and whose work is not covered by the coverage clause of a collective agreement must sign the following individual employment contract: cancellation of teaching is not common in the Czech Republic.
In case of absence of a teacher, students can be sent home if the cancelled subject is the last lesson of the day (for older students), otherwise supervision is provided for students (representation of an absent teacher or classes in other classes). Professionals in groups of children set up by public institutions are generally paid according to the salary scale, which has 16 categories of work intensity and qualification and 12 levels depending on the duration of the practice (the rates are slightly lower than the scale for teachers). Classification into a salary category is the responsibility of the employer and, according to the recommendation of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, it varies from the 4th to the 9th category, depending on the complexity of the work performed. For the bonus and allowance system, see the additional salary elements. A possible promotion in a teacher`s career is the position of school inspector. However, school inspectors are not considered to be educational staff, but to be staff of the public administration (for more information, see staff involved in quality control of early childhood and education education in Chapter 10). . . .
